I am currently on the register for the FM specialty but they won’t tell me how many people are on the list. I’m trying to get a feel for how long the list may be.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07052824633739510072noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1557465214499246773.post-7066254430734747592016-12-31T19:45:06.105-05:002016-12-31T19:45:06.105-05:00Hi Michael. I am retired Navy and I have a Master's degree in IT Management. I was hoping you could tell me what to expect from the Oral Assessment and if there is anything I can do to prepare for the assessment. I was contemplating taking the Foreign Service Officer test but I did not do well with the practice test. After orientation, do you get a list of places to choose from or do they assign you to a certain location? Any information you could provide would help tremendously.

Michael HalfordAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11409183949083023125noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1557465214499246773.post-60981440014454480542016-07-18T15:03:22.727-04:002016-07-18T15:03:22.727-04:00Hi, thank you for such an informative and entertai...Hi, thank you for such an informative and entertaining blog.

I'm an IMS aspirant, missed out OCT 2015 by .25 on the OA. How did you prepare for it?
Thanks again.
BenAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04723122169652825943noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1557465214499246773.post-14525401537320571142015-06-26T00:26:13.901-04:002015-06-26T00:26:13.901-04:00Michael, my timeline was pretty fast and it does s...Michael, my timeline was pretty fast and it does sound like 1-2 years is more normal for getting into this career.Jeffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14159152801252981101noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1557465214499246773.post-27369299922910210182015-06-24T14:03:10.043-04:002015-06-24T14:03:10.043-04:00Wow, your timeline seems really fast, which must h...Wow, your timeline seems really fast, which must have been nice.
