I don't usually focus a blog post on a hotel, but this resort was an amazing find for the week and I just have too many wonderful pictures of The Lohka Ubud Resort, Villas, & Spas. We stayed in a suite room on the top floor with the valley view, but the pool villas look amazing.
It was perfectly situated above Ubud with a shuttle down to the relative chaos of the tourist areas or an easy hike down the ridge hike to town. It was a central point in Bali for hiring a car to explore, but that plan was truncated for us because we both developed colds from the travel. This was our tropical oasis from the outside world. It provided a nice break from it all and it was also a great place to recover from being sick.

| ...a flower bath! It's a private outdoor bath filled with flower petals. It was definitely an unforgetable experience! |
 |
| The resort had Balinese dancers one night per week so we didn't have to venture out to see something like this. |
