We met some of our family in Orlando for Halloween during R&R. It was an intense week of amusement parks and so much fun!

Carlsbad Caverns & Roswell NM

 

We used our last R&R trip from Algiers to visit home. We made a shortish road trip to New Mexico to visit Carlsbad Caverns and Roswell. We may as well stop by Roswell if we're driving all the way to Carlsbad so that's what we did. Here's some interesting things we saw on this little trip.

5th tour is... Colombo!

 Next stop is Colombo, Sri Lanka!

Colombo is the executive and judicial capital and largest city of Sri Lanka by population. It's on the west coast of the island nation.

Sri Lanka is in the Indian Ocean, southwest of the Bay of Bengal, separated from the Indian peninsula by the Gulf of Mannar and the Palk Strait. It shares a maritime border with the Maldives in the southwest and India in the northwest.
