We took a long weekend road trip with our coworkers and friends to Bousaada Algeria. It doesn't rank as one of our best trips in Algeria, which is probably Djanet, but it was a good weekend seeing something new. It was mostly a relaxing time with good food and the occasional interesting thing to see.
Bousaada Welcome Ceremony
This is the restaurant where we ate most of our meals.
The nice Hotel Kerdada
A beautiful market building.
Evening tea in the dunes to watch the sunset.
Around town. There's a lot of storks with nests on various towers.
The Museum for famous local artist Étienne Dinet.
The old town, with the original mosque, and the water source.
We had lunch at a very nice guest house that is nearly finished. This will be a very cool place to stay in the future.
the outdoor kitchen cooking us lunch

Back to touring around Bousaada again.

We visited an knife and sword maker on the way back home to Algiers.
This is one the knives that the President will give as a gift.
