Bordeaux France
Bordeaux France is a two hour direct flight from Algiers. It's a great long weekend getaway. I made a 4-day weekend using vacation time so we could get a little break in the middle of December. We got our usual museum infusion. There was a big Christmas Market that was fun to check out along with the holiday lights of the city.

Béjaïa Algeria
Béjaïa is a Mediterranean port city in Algeria about a 3 hour drive east of Algiers. It's also home to some beautiful views from the Gouraya National Park, such as this one overlooking the city.
