Buda Castle District and a Labyrinth

We went up the funicular to the top of the Buda Castle District just for the fun-icular of it. This time we turned right and checked out the rest of the Castle District with Fisherman's Bastion. We also went underneath the area and  wandered through a dark labyrinth. The only thing left was to fly over but I didn't see a way to do that so that's as much as we covered there.

we had a wonderful stroll along the backside wall

We saw the original cloth version of this coronation mantle in a museum but we weren't allowed to take pics of it.

We went underground and explored the Labyrinth. It was really dark with club smoke added in parts to add to the ambiance. Freaky wax figures with opera music, odd lighting, lots of darkness, and Vlad the Impaler (Dracula) also helped set the mood. The mood they were shooting for was apparently spooky. I thought it was pleasant and cozy.

easy to get a bit lost in the dark with those random offshoots

probably impaled by Vlad the Impaler because it's right there in his name

Who's there? Let's turn on the flash and shed a little light on the subject...

just lights there, not eyes

There's something weird going on with this picture because that woman on the right looks like a real person now. They weren't that life-like in person...

...yet another turn and another passage and did we ever get out or was this posted from inside?!?
Bwahahahaha!!!
