Monkeys deserve their own post here like the
puffins in Iceland. They have their own sacred sanctuary with temples in it, so obviously they're some important monkeys.
The monkeys were literally everywhere. We were a bit paranoid by all of the online videos and warning signs about them stealing hats, glasses, phones, or anything else they can grab. I saw one try to grab someone's phone hanging from a strap, but she was able to keep hold of it.
It was feeding time and we watched out for each other to make sure the monkeys weren't getting behind us, so that may have helped. Otherwise, the monkeys are cool to be around.
